Agodi gardens, located in Ibadan, the present capital of Oyo state and the third largest city in Africa, is one of the tourist centres Ibadan can be proud of alongside Cocoa House, Bower’s Tower and so on. The garden is situated near the Oyo State Secretariat Complex, Agodi, Ibadan, Oyo State.
The Agodi Gardens had suffered some periods of neglect by the Oyo State government. Few people visited the garden then because it was stocked with dilapidated facilities and was also untidy. But that was the look of the Agodi Gardens back then, now, the garden has an outstanding outlook of a real tourist centre blended with nature.
Tourists, fun-seekers and holiday makers stormed the garden in December 2014 when it was opened to the public with the sum of N500 for entry fee.
Agodi gardens has a lot of attractions enclosed in it such as a playground for children, a top class restaurant, waterpark and animal enclosure.
